How to sew a Fabric Basket

Organising a kids room could be so stressful sometimes. It used to take me about an hour to get it tidy again. Doing this everyday got me wondering on what would be the best sewn project to fix this problem. My solution was the easy Diy Fabric Basket. They are super easy and simple to sew, it is also very versatile! You could use this as a form of storage for you old items.

Materials needed:

  • fabric – 2 matching fabrics (cotton or upholstery fabric) – 1/4 yard each
  • fusible interfacing – 1/2 yard
  • matching thread
  • scissors (or rotary cutter and a cutting mat)
  • ruler or measuring tape
  • iron and ironing board
