DIY Pom Pom Trim Shorts

Hullo ladies. Here's a new one for the fun and complex free life that is so desirable to all. Sew your own trim shorts super fast and easy because this free sewing tutorial pattern below makes the process just that, fast and easy. And when you are done, you have a comfy, lightweight short to wear around the house, to the beach, and even to bed, because this short is so cozy, it could even pass for a night short. I for one love to use mine for that. So make sure to check it out friends, you don't want to miss this.

Materials needed:

  • 1 to 1 1/2 yards of fabric (depending on size). These could be either knit or woven; the fit is loose enough that either kind of fabric will work. I used Idle Wild Knit Main in Multi (my fabric design!).
  • 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 (depending on size) yards of pom pom trim. I used this one (affiliate link)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 yards (depending on size) of 1 inch wide elastic
