Up-cycling Men’s Old Shirt into a Doctor’s Coat

Yeah, you're probably wondering why the need to upcyle and reuse. Preservation and economy of course. That is what changed the name of this attire from daddy's shirt to doctor’s coat. Genius, isn't it? You can also DIY if you open the tutorial and act accordingly. Then not only our doctors coat but also our lab coats will be ready for use. This coat will be perfect for drama presentations, dress up parties and much more.

Materials needed:

  • one old white shirt
  • scissors
  • pins
  • sewing machine
  • white and red cotton thread
  • white bias binding
  • white sew on Velcro
  • red felt
