DIY Reusable Tea Bags

Not a coffee lover? Prefer a cup of tea instead? We have found a super simple way for you to enjoy that tea without throwing away a single tea bag ever again! Im serious. And, like the coffee filter, it is easy and will take you as long as it takes to get the tea pot steamin'! Now with our free sewing pattern, you can make that special blend even better by creating your own custom, reusable tea bags. Ok, now let's get this sewing par-tea started. 

Materials needed:

  • fabric – cotton or muslin
  • baker’s twine or thin ribbon
  • charms (optional)
  • matching thread
  • scissors (or rotary cutter and a cutting mat)
  • ruler or measuring tape
  • iron and ironing board
  • sewing clips or pins
  • sewing machine
